Working professionally since 2003 with an in-at-the-deep-end
first commission coming from New York Times shooting on film.
Embracing the immediacy of digital photography since then
I have shot commercially for a very diverse client base over
many disciplines – studio portraits to abstract macro for
news, fashion, corporate, retail, hospitality, resort, design
/advertising agencies, architects, interior designers.

In addition to my commercial work my personal work is pursued
in parallel – often I am hired for my personal vision and style of
shooting and this freedom often achieves unique results.

Prior to becoming a full time professional photographer I was
a graphic designer which has had a clear influence on the way
I shoot – in terms ‘built-in art director’ offering composed,
meaningful, graphic, structured and balanced images.
From this background I thus understand what happens to an
image after it is delivered to a client and can take preemptive
measures to ensure I offer technically appropriate results
for the intended usage.

With a strong personal interest and knowledge of architecture
and interior design recent years has seen me specialise in
shooting in this field of photography. In rapidly developing
Asia to date I have shot over one million sq ft of ‘space’
and counting ...
